Hot Feed Rubber Extruder
Hot feed extruder is traditional rubber extrusion equipment widely used in the rubber processing industry. Unlike cold feed extruders, it cannot process rubber at room temperature directly. Before extrusion, rubber materials must be pre-plasticized and heated by mixing mills to reach a suitable plastic state. The equipment mainly consists of a driving device, reduction gearbox, barrel, screw and extrusion die. Its screw usually has a relatively low length-diameter ratio. The pre-warmed rubber compound is fed into the extruder inlet. The screw further homogenizes the material and builds pressure to push rubber through the die to form continuous profiles.
