Four Roll Rubber Calender

The 4-roll calender is a critical continuous processing machine extensively utilized in the rubber and plastic industry. It consists of four precisely machined rolls arranged in specific configurations such as inverted L-type, Z-type or vertical layout. Before calendering, pre-mixed rubber compound is fed into the gaps between rotating rolls. By controlling roll speed, roll gap and temperature, the machine applies continuous extrusion and shearing force to flatten rubber materials into uniform sheets with specified thickness and width. It can also complete fabric or steel cord coating, rubber lamination and surface finishing in one pass.
