XK-450 Rubber Mixing Mill
The rubber two-roll open mixing mill, commonly known as the open mill, is a core and fundamental processing equipment widely applied in the rubber and elastomer manufacturing industry. As classic and indispensable rubber machinery, it serves as essential auxiliary and independent processing equipment for rubber compound preparation, covering laboratory testing, small-batch trial production and formal industrial batch production.
This machine features a simple and robust mechanical structure, mainly composed of two parallel horizontal rollers that rotate in opposite directions with a preset speed difference. By adjusting the gap between the two rollers, operators can control the processing thickness and shearing intensity precisely. When raw rubber or mixed rubber compounds pass through the roller gap, the strong shear, friction, extrusion and stretching forces generated by the differential rotation of the rollers effectively break rubber molecular chains, soften raw rubber, and uniformly disperse various additives, vulcanizing agents and fillers into the rubber matrix.
