Our Banbury mixer is a closed internal batch mixer, has become the standard compounding equipment for the global rubber industry. It features two counter-rotating spiral rotors inside a sealed mixing chamber. Raw rubber, reinforcing fillers, curing agents and other additives are loaded into the chamber. The hydraulic ram applies compression while the rotors generate strong shear force to plasticate rubber and disperse all ingredients uniformly. Built-in cooling channels precisely control mixing temperature to prevent premature scorch.
