Moving Die Rheometer
The Moving Die Rheometer (MDR), also called rotorless cure rheometer, is a professional testing instrument for measuring vulcanization characteristics of rubber compounds. It conforms to international standards ISO 6502 and ASTM D5289.
With a rotorless sealed mold structure, the machine applies sinusoidal oscillation to rubber samples under constant temperature. It continuously records torque changes during vulcanization to form complete curing curves. Key test parameters include minimum torque, maximum torque, scorch time, optimum curing time and curing rate.
